Went out to Murni yesterday at 11pm. I am becoming a very very naughty girl. Hehehhee... It was Ribena special session with my Kinabalu / current & future Leo buds (Xien, Sheng Wei, Jia Yi, Wei Kiat & Kok Chiang)! And repeatedly, we laughed our heads off (as usual), got stares & imitations by other people. Kekekke... AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, I got the photos!
First of all, thanks to Kok Chiang & Xien for the photos and Kok Chiang for helping get the two lovely lovely pen drives! THANK YOU!
There are a few hundred photos available, so it is quite difficult to pick which to post. Each represents all the bits & pieces of one of the best trips I have ever been for:D
Presenting.............. The crew!

In the next few post, you will realise something very similar about all most of us. Hmm.. What can that be?
Day 1
We boarded the flight at 9am, the flight took 2 hours. The flight was smooth sailing.
To start off the whole trip, my dear fellow climbers gave me a scare. After I threw my ticket in the plane, they said that we have to show our flight ticket to the immigration!! I almost hyperventilated ok! So glad I'm not seeing them on April's Fool. Hahha... Just kidding. Would love to see them anytime! Just too much fun~!
The place we crashed while in Kinabalu City (the quietest city I have ever been)
I definitely recommend anyone to stay there. As the name shows, it's for backpackers. But, you would be surprised how comfortably decorated it is and it sure is very very clean.
Our first destination - Jesselton Point. It's the jetty to many of the islands of KK.
From there, we got a boat to send us to Pulau Sapi for a swim.
But before that, pictures pictures!
The slackers (including myself la!!!). Daniel & Amylin did everything for us.
Thanks so much you two~!
Mei-Yan.
I am so glad you came after disappearing for 3 months in NS. Good catch up time!!!!
PULAU SAPI - one of the three main tourist island off Kinabalu City. This island has the best marine life among the three and also, it's the furthest from Kinabalu City.
Me, Mei-Yan & Jia Yi before diving into the crystal clear waters of Pulau Sapi
Things you should know about Pulau Sapi:
-the sea water is especially salty. More salty than usual
-the fishes are a bit dull (not much vibrant colours)
-there are jellyfishes around, so watch out!
-because water there is denser cause of the EXTRA salt, it's great for skipping rocks (we spend half of our time on that, my first time:)
Then, it started to rain and it became windy. The weather - comparable to the weather on top of Kinabalu.
Don't be deceived by their happy faces- we were so cold that it became numb
At one point, the rain hit them like needles. No joke. I got some too!
I actually saw small sharks in the tank. And there was a worker who carried a shark's tail into the kitchen - EEEEEEWWW!!! Please people, have some compassion, don't eat shark.
Have some of these instead. Yummm!!!
That's about it for the first day. Other than all the laughs, noise and havoc that I would not mention here. Hehehhehe.....
Last thing,
FISH LANGAT IS THE BOMB!
